FAQ
How do you decide which brokers top a list?
Each list uses the five factors above. We open and test accounts, verify every broker’s license on the regulator’s public register, measure real spreads and commissions, check funding and withdrawal times, and review how client money is held. Top positions reflect both safety and fit for that specific use case, for example low spreads for scalpers or simple platforms for beginners.
Do affiliate links affect rankings?
No. Rankings come from our own research and testing. Some links are affiliate or sponsored and we may earn a commission if you open an account, but that never changes a broker’s score or where it sits on a list. See our Affiliate & Advertising Disclosure for details.
Are these rankings global or local?
Both. Some lists rank brokers by trading style or use case for a global audience. Others are country-specific, because broker availability, regulation, leverage limits, funding methods, and local support differ from one place to the next. Always check what applies where you live.
Should beginners use high leverage or trade CFDs?
Take it slowly. High leverage and CFDs increase both potential profit and potential loss, and most retail CFD accounts lose money. If you are starting out, practice on a demo account first, use low leverage, choose a broker with negative balance protection, and only risk money you can afford to lose.
Can I suggest a broker or report an issue?
Yes. If we are missing a broker you rate, or you spot something wrong on a list, contact us at info@brokercatalogue.com. We read every message and update our lists as brokers change their terms.
